Hyper Speed Mode and In Game Map
Hey everybody! Thanks so much to everyone who played so far! This is a pretty big update for us in terms of quality of life, but also it shows a lot more of the direction we want to go with the momentum in the game.
Most notable changes are the new hyper speed mode that allows you to reflect bullets or stun enemies by ramming into them, and the new in game map that shows you where you have been and where you need to go.

Skull Scavenger 0.7.0 Update
This update will clear your save game in the web player (sorry) this issue has been fixed and will not reoccur with future web player updates. If you downloaded the game your save should still work.
New Features
-Hyper Speed Mode!
When going max speed your skull will now reflect bullets. Ramming enemies at max speed will deal damage to them and stun them. If the ram attack does not defeat the enemy your Skull will do a back flip into the air becoming invulnerable for a short time. It is possible to shoot while airborne.
Several new VFX and sounds have been added around this new mechanic.
-In game Map!
You can now hit the M key at any time to bring up a map of the current level that will show your position and the extract position. The map also has a fog of war so you map only see where you have already been. -Camera is now more dynamic zooms in and out based on velocity take velocity into account when calculating view offset - Added one outpost with 2 hearts with higher magic find to level 2
Balance
-Reduced max kill quest amount to 30 kills
Quality Of Life
-Little red X's now show on items you have just dropped to show
that you can't pick them up until you leave the pickup area.
-Replaced most common backpack model and Icon to make it easier to tell the difference between common and uncommon backpacks -Backpacks can now be dropped in run even while they are full which will drop all of the items contained in the backpack -It's now possible to swap backpacks or remove backpacks that have items in them in the stash menu. Doing so will dump all the items inside the pack into the stash. This is not possible if the stash is full. -You can now alt, shift, control or right click to Buy, Sell, Stash, Equip or Drop an item. -Changed the color of player bullets to blue, bullets also now change color when they are reflected -Added Show FPS to options menu
-Text Popup FULL now appears if you attempt to pickup an item when your inventory is full
- A warning now appears if you try to enter the level without a backpack or weapon
-1 Heart is now always guaranteed during tutorial level. -Health now regenerates to full when reaching 1 in the tutorial instead of staying at 1 which people found confusing. -Camera, movement, shooting, enemy aggro, and damage are now deactivated while tutorial messages are up on the screen.

Bug Fixes
-Fixed Issue where saves did not persist between different versions of the game on Itch.IO
-Fixed issue where silver snails didn't count towards kill quests
- Fixed issue that caused inventory to
act full if you drop a backpack while you are full
-Fixed issue that caused snipers to slide around while they are aiming their laser -Fixed issue that caused rounding of selling items to be inconsistent
